The 5 Greatest Video Game Soundtrack Composers

The musical geniuses behind some amazing work

Kurt Cobain is Rolling In His Grave

You’re going to have to get very used to seeing Robert Pattinson’s face, because he is being casted as everyone’s heroes it seems. He was recently casted to play the role of Kurt Cobain in an upcoming bio film. He already played Salvidor Dahli and is rumored to play Spiderman. So I’m afraid ‘Twifans’ own the world now and it will be consumed by ‘Glampires’.

It is also rumored that Courtney Love had suggested her part be played by Scarlett Johansson. So, if you are interested in seeing the kings and queens of grunge being portrayed by their complete opposites, then by all means proceed.

Citizen Cope at The Wiltern

Citizen Cope’s creative and groovy take on acoustic music is sure to please. His latest album the Rainwater LP is a slow and melodic musical experience. Be sure to check out his single, “Healing Hands” for the relaxing listen while driving or reading a book.

Niche recently got to check out his concert at the Wiltern Theatre, an L.A. premier venue and it did not fail to please. A sold out gig teemed with many desperate fans outside who did not have tickets practically begging any passerby asking them if they had an extra ticket they would be willing to sell. From the first chord the crowd were all on edge and mystified by the ingenious sound of Citizen Cope.

The crowd’s transition from mystified to screaming at the top of their lungs transitioned in a matter of seconds when He performed his hit single “Let the Drummer Kick” from his 2002 self-titled album.

All in all, Citizen Cope’s performance was a great blend of sound and energy, which are the key elements in performing a noteworthy concert. We at Niche highly recommend checking out Citizen Cope’s 2010 Tour which from Los Angeles to Venues all across the nation.
