Band of Horses Going to 'Laredo'

I adore the bearded Band of Horses so I was sure to take a listen to their newly released single. This is the second song to be released off of their new album, Infinite Arms, which should be out sometime in May.

When paired with Bridwell’s somber tones, the meandering music is rather reminiscent of a theoretical warm summer day in the country. In some ways the song reminds me of CCR’s ‘Lodi’. You’ve got to love tunes about getting out of some dreary town to go look for better horizons. It seems like that is something the general population can always relate to, sadly.
So, have a listen to ‘Laredo’ below and take the trip either way.
