On a bittersweet day, Niche was at New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on the final day it would take place in the Bryant Park tents before moving to Lincoln Center for the next season of shows. Paying homage to the 17 years of shows at Bryant Park, the outside of the tents were covered in quotes from famous personalities. supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who said, ” “I’ll always have fond memories of the tents in Bryant Park. It was one of the earlier highlights of my career.”
Inside, the tents were bustling with fashion buyers, gorgeous models, and writers from several major magazines and newspapers. Occasionally, a celebrity, like Phat Farm mogul Russell Simmons could be seen strolling behind the velvet ropes beneath a large screen displaying live Twitter posts of fashion week insiders. Some of the crowd of waiting to see the Trias show with Niche’s staff, were dressed with the dramatic capes and eccentric headdresses that can be expected of New York City’s fashion crowd.
