Jamie Cullum’s show truly stands apart from all other concerts we’ve been to. In fact, to say that the show we went to last night was amazing would not do it justice. He has a stage presence that is unparalleled. In his show he transformers his jazzy piano music into performance art. Jamie’s voice would take the crowd from a roar of singing along to his songs to utter silence in awe of his talent.

Not only was Jamie an amazing performer but in our interview he proved to be funny, kind, and humble. We discussed everything from his inspirations ranging from authors like F. Scott Fitzgerald to musicians like Ben Folds. We also discussed his music video for the song “I’m All Over It” in which he stated it was inspired by Wes Anderson films. Jamie is a fantastic musician and a great interview look out for the next issue for the full interview and photo spread.
I’m not sure if Adrien will “Be Back” after this one.

I fell in love when I first heard Blitzen Trapper. “Furr” actually really did make me wish I grew up with wolves and wrote a song about my experiences. And, thankfully, the band will attempt to wow the masses again with Destroyer of the Void June 8th. Sub Pop, home of Postal Service, The Shins and Beach House, will release this follow-up to their critically-acclaimed debut Furr with M.Ward/ Bright Eyes producer Mike Coykendall. And there’s more good news: an upcoming summer tour around Europe and the States.

We recently had a short but sweet interview and photo shoot with the lead singer of the Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Mette. Asteroids Galaxy Tour is based out of Copenhagen, Denmark and their current album, Fruit, is a unique blend of many different musical styles from blues to pop music and it is sure to please any listener.
We’ve been hearing about the hopelessly adorable (when not seething with drugs) musician’s problems for some time now. He just can’t seem to rid himself of that puppy dog who knocked over the trash a few too many times persona. We want to cuddle him and tell him that maybe he doesn’t need to be getting himself into so much trouble, but that never seems to work.
